WHO WE ARE

Integrated Operations Group Inc. (IOG) is a growing full-phase forest development firm with operations across BC tailoring primarily to the forestry, construction and utility industries. Wespecialize in innovative processes to complete challenging forestry projects with a focuson value rather than volume. Our team consists of professional foresters, equipment operators,fallers,tree climbers, forest engineers and other resource professionals.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

​

IOG is seeking a motivated individual to fulfill the role of FORWARDER OPERATOR to run our John Deere 1910E, Ponsse Buffalo, and Ponsse Elephant King. This position will primarily support IOG’s commercial thinning and fire mitigation programs. Terrain varies from project to project, but will primarily be flat to moderately sloping. The ideal candidate is a safe and efficient worker, and must be able to perform regular equipment maintenance and other related tasks. Field work may require some camp shifts in various locations throughout BC on an as-needed basis. Short-term/seasonal contracts will be considered at the request of the applicant.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE (This may vary depending on the candidate):

​

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating a wheeled forwarder,

  • Experience in commercial thinning an asset,

  • First Aid and other relevant certifications are an asset,

  • Class 5 Driver’s License required

  • Experience operating a wheeled Harvester is also an asset.
